Bugcraft Academy

Questions worth asking early

We bias toward honest limits. If something is not included, we say it plainly so you can plan around it.

Program shape

How large are live groups?

Most live blocks cap around eighteen seats so mentors can read submissions without rushing. Larger intakes split into parallel sections with staggered demos.

Do you teach automation frameworks?

Not in the beginner lane. Automation belongs to a different roadmap once manual habits—evidence, tone, triage—are stable.

Are demos real customer systems?

No. We only use staged properties with synthetic data. That limitation keeps everyone safer and keeps exercises portable.

Mentors and feedback

How fast do mentors return notes?

Typical turnaround is three business days for bundled reviews. Faster windows appear on specific course pages when we can staff them.

Can mentors join our employer Slack?

Not by default. We keep reviews inside the academy workspace to protect both learner data and employer policies. Custom engagements start on the contact form.

Career support

Do you certify placement at a company?

We do not. We help with materials and practice. Hiring decisions stay with employers and their external reviewers.

Is interview practice included in every bundle?

Interview Lab is its own course. Some bundles mention a teaser session; read the course detail page carefully before assuming full mock panels.

Logistics

Which time zone anchors live calls?

Korea Standard Time anchors live calls, with recordings for learners studying abroad. We list local offsets on the contact page each quarter.

What if I fall behind?

You can shift to the next cohort once per course without extra program fee math, subject to seat availability. This is not unlimited; we note the cap in your welcome email.

The Bug Reports That Developers Actually Open module finally showed me why my titles were skipped. The rubric pinned to week two is still on my monitor bezel.

Regression Packs for Small Teams made our Friday release calmer. I wish the sample pack included one more mobile-only column, but the template itself is solid.

Mixed snapshot

“Ticket triage lab + short mentor video = my aha.”

Role line: support analyst crossing into QA

“Client in logistics software — the repro snippet from Web Testing Walkthroughs mirrored a defect I later saw on the job.”
“Client in education technology — Career Studio helped me reorder portfolio PDFs without sounding inflated.”

Interview Lab’s countdown practice stopped me from narrating environment trivia first. The panel asked hard but fair follow-ups tied to the Bugcraft ticket templates.

Capstone Practice Release memo was harder than finding bugs—that was the point. I still open the release stance outline before big demos.
